Spring has returned

I’ve written quite a bit on Japanese paper that isn’t for calligraphy. Seeing the deep Chinese ink is sinking slowly into the paper calms my mind. This was the title signboard for my solo exhibition in Aoyama, Tokyo. I enjoyed thinking of the combination of the mat boards.
