The characteristics of Rosyo (Calligraphy using wax and ink) are the enjoyment of the shape of letters and the beauty of ink colors. Sometimes I am not sure what I am doing. Anyway, I allow me to just enjoy it. When I exhibited this work at the WABI SABI pavilion in Japan Expo Paris, a woman has visited to see this work many times. She said “It matches the color of the walls in my room.” I was wondering if it would have been better to give it away to her, but at the same time, I wouldn’t want to let it go.
